Teutonia T-Linx System, Venetian Red Reviews
15 of 16 people found the following review helpful Stylish, Overpriced, Inconvenient Travel System!, March 25, 2011 By This review is from: Teutonia T-Linx System, Carbon Black (Baby Product) Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this?) We received this as part of the Vine Program. Here is our review.
Stroller Pros:
The white reflective piping is a nice touch to brighten up the black fabric.
It has a great 5-point restraint for safety.
We like that our son sits up higher than our other stroller. It has a very smooth ride and is easy to maneuver. It glides across the floor.
We like the 3 position recline on the seat.
The stroller handle flips easily to change the direction your child is facing. This is great for when they are infants and want to look at you, then can be easily changed for when they are older and want to look at the world.
The brakes are actually up on the handle of the stroller and not controlled by foot like most strollers. This is a little awkward to use at first but after a few tries we were able to unlock and lock using one hand.
Cons:
For a stroller this expensive, we would like to see more... Read more
9 of 10 people found the following review helpful Love the stroller -- hate the fact it's falling apart., January 7, 2011 By This review is from: Teutonia T-Linx System, Venetian Red (Baby Product) UPDATE: Wish I'd written a review that wasn't so nice. I called Teutonia again after posting this one and it's been bought out by Graco. The woman on the phone told me I needed to pay to have it shipped to them and they would determine if they could fix it, otherwise it wasn't their problem basically. I explained that I wanted a box shipped to me and the postage paid for because I don't feel that was my problem -- to continue putting money into this issue became ridiculous. They sent us a box, a box for an umbrella stroller. I'm convinced it was purposeful. So we couldn't send the stroller back. I'm taking this as a loss of $700 and I'm investing in a BOB stroller.
Thanks so much for showing your company's poor customer service/workmanship skills. I'm in charge of a few mom-geared organizations in my area and I will definitely be warning them all.

5 of 5 people found the following review helpful Overpriced (IMHO) but Nice, May 7, 2011 By This review is from: Teutonia T-Linx System, Carbon Black (Baby Product) Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this?) We have two children and have been through the stroller buying process twice. Normally choosing more common systems available at Target or Baby's R US for example. The typical systems we purchased before were in the $200-$300 range (I call this the mid-range). We travel with these systems (in a minivan), so compactness has been and remains a critical factor.
Bottom line: this system is way overpriced at $700.00 and called "a luxury crossover stroller." In fact, I argue any system, is over priced at $700.00. I mean, come on. You are not buying a car. A large component of pricing is that the system is built in Europe and imported. So, you pay a premium for the cool factor of saying you have a European stroller. In fact, I was watching a movie set the other day and I swear I saw this stroller (the movie was set in Europe). Also, some have called this system "sophisticated," normally a euphymism for expensive, cool, and "look at me."
That being said, the... Read more
